Real-time gate control over WhatsApp.

When a guest arrives, the guard logs their name and photo on the Guard PWA. Every resident in the flat instantly receives an Approve or Deny card on WhatsApp. First tap wins — the guard sees the result in real time, gate opens or stays closed. No phone calls, no intercoms, no apps to open.

The entire loop — guard logs to resident response — completes in under 60 seconds on a standard mobile connection. If no one responds within a configurable timeout, the guard is prompted to follow the society's fallback policy.

Pre-approved codes

Share a code, skip the wait.

Expecting a delivery, a friend, or a service vendor? Set a pre-approval in advance. UnitSync generates a 6-digit code (or a QR) that you share with your guest. When they arrive, the guard enters the code and the gate opens without bothering anyone.

Codes are single-use by default and expire after a configurable window (same day, 24 hours, or a custom range). Residents receive a notification when their code is used at the gate.

Delivery fast-track

One tap for known visitor types.

Delivery agents, cabs, and regular vendors do not need approval every time. The guard selects the visitor type from the Guard PWA and the resident gets a quiet notification — no action needed unless they want to deny. Standing instructions let residents configure their preferred behaviour per visitor type.

Fast-track entries still appear in the visitor log and are attributed to the correct flat. Nothing is invisible to the admin console.

Staff attendance

Guards mark domestic staff — maids, cooks, drivers — in and out through the Guard PWA. Each resident receives a quiet evening summary of who came and when. No one needs to chase the guard for records or keep a paper register.

Attendance records are available in the admin console with date-range filtering. Useful for resolving disputes and tracking reliability of household staff over time.

Family access

Everyone in the flat, not just the head.

The head of family invites family members using a short-lived onboarding code. Once joined, all members receive visitor approval requests simultaneously — the first person to respond wins. If two people tap at the same moment, the head of family's response takes precedence.

Family members can also raise SOS alerts, set pre-approvals, and receive staff notifications. Phone numbers are never shared between flats.

Emergency SOS

One message alerts everyone who matters.

Any resident in any flat can trigger an SOS by sending a single message to UnitSync on WhatsApp. The alert fans out immediately to all MC members, every guard on duty, and the society manager — with the sender's flat number and name.

SOS events are logged with a timestamp in the admin console and cannot be deleted. This creates a permanent record for incident reporting.

Guard PWA

Works on any browser, any Android.

The Guard PWA runs in any modern mobile browser — no Play Store, no APK, no device management. Guards access it via a saved bookmark on their work phone. The interface is designed for low literacy and low connectivity: large tap targets, minimal text, instant feedback.

The three core screens are: Home (shift summary, pending approvals), New Visitor (log entry form, camera capture), and Code Lookup (6-digit code entry). That's the whole app.

Admin console

Full visibility for society managers.

The web-based admin console gives managers a live visitor log, resident roster, and 7-day trend KPIs in one view. Pending approvals that timed out, unusual entry patterns, and staff-attendance summaries are all surfaced without any manual data entry.

Access is role-based — managers see all society data, committee members see an oversight view, and residents only ever see their own flat's data via WhatsApp. A minimum of two admins is enforced at the database level to prevent lockout.

Maintenance payments

Monthly dues, collected over WhatsApp.

Residents receive their maintenance bill directly on WhatsApp and pay via UPI deep link — no app, no portal, no cash. Receipts are generated automatically. Managers see payment status per flat in real time.

Reminders go out automatically at configurable intervals before the due date. Overdue balances are tracked per flat and visible in the admin console.

Complaint ticketing

Raise and track issues without leaving WhatsApp.

Residents submit complaints through a structured WhatsApp Flow — category, description, optional photo. Each complaint gets a ticket number. Status updates go back to the resident on WhatsApp as the manager works through the queue.

SLAs and closure ratings are configurable per society. Managers work from the admin console; residents never need to open anything other than WhatsApp.

Broadcast notices

Announcements that actually get read.

Managers compose notices — text, image, or PDF — in the admin console and broadcast to all residents or a specific building or block. Delivery receipts are tracked. Emergency notices get a read-receipt requirement.

Notices are categorised (General, Maintenance, Emergency, Event) and archived in the admin console for reference. Residents cannot reply to broadcasts — this keeps the channel clean.

Amenity booking

Clubhouse, gym, pool — booked over WhatsApp.

Residents browse available slots for society amenities through a WhatsApp Flow with a slot picker. Bookings are confirmed instantly, added to the admin console calendar, and a reminder goes out an hour before.

Managers set capacity limits, blackout dates, and per-flat booking quotas from the admin console. Cancellations release the slot automatically.
