Who we are

UnitSync is a WhatsApp-first community management platform for gated residential societies. References to "UnitSync", "we", "us", or "our" in these terms refer to the company operating the platform.

Using UnitSync

By using UnitSync, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when setting up your society or resident account.
  • Use the platform only for lawful purposes related to managing your residential community.
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform or its APIs.
  • Keep your administrator credentials secure and not share them with unauthorised individuals.

Accounts and access

Each society account requires a minimum of two administrators. This is a safety measure — it prevents any single person from locking the society out of the system.

Residents access UnitSync through WhatsApp. By interacting with UnitSync via WhatsApp, residents accept that their phone number will be used to route messages related to their flat's activity within the society.

Service availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

Subscriptions and payments

Subscription pricing, billing cycles, and payment terms will be detailed in your society's service agreement. The UnitSync website does not display pricing — contact us to discuss your society's needs.

If a subscription lapses:

  • Service is suspended after a 14-day grace period.
  • Society data is preserved during the grace period and for 30 days after suspension.
  • Data is permanently deleted 30 days after suspension unless the subscription is renewed.

Limitation of liability

UnitSync is a communication and coordination tool. Decisions made by residents or managers based on information in the platform (such as approving a visitor) remain the responsibility of the person who made the decision. UnitSync is not liable for the consequences of those decisions.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Significant changes will be communicated to society administrators in advance.
